Former national team captain Shahid Afridi has categorically denied allegation of religious pressure on former sniper Danish Kaneri.

According to private News channel world renowned cricketer Afridi's has denied the allegation made by Danish Kaneria and said that he was trying to fully understand religion at the time he was talking about.

In the spot fixing case, he defamed the country and ended his cricket career, accusing it of cheap fame and money.

Danish was like my younger brother and i played with him in the department for many years, now 15-20 years later, why did Kaneria remember these allegation, what is his role ? I know.

If my attitude towards Danish was bad then why did not he complain to me in Pakistan cricket board or Habib Bank, today our enemy is giving this kind of interview in country.

Kaneria, Said Shahid Afirdi pressured to covert to Islam

Former league sniper Danish Kaneria, who was convicted in a spot fixing case, has alleged that being a Hindu, former captain Shahid Afridi attitude towards me was not right and he kept pressuring me to convert to Islam.

According to privet News TV channel, in an interview to Indian TV, Danish Kaneria alleged that former chairman Ijaz Butt refused to accept my position and my cricket was over.

The former sniper further alleged that first Shoaib Akhtar said this about Afridi on state TV, Pakistan team had big players my probles have always been with Shahid Afridi because he did not have a good attitude towards me in the team and always tried to bring me down.

Use to  Afridi is big name in cricket. He was the captain of my department so he would let me out in the department.

When Younis Khan became the captain instead of Shahid, he would feed me all the matches, " he said. 

Even in fielding practice, Shahid used to hit me with sentence. once i got A category in central contract, Afridi's used to hit me with words in fielding practice which i could not express on TV . He ignored me.
