بابر اعظم نے اسی اننگز کے دوران بھارتی کپتان روہیت شرما کا ریکارڈ بھی توڑ دیا۔  پاکستانی کپتان ٹی ٹوئنٹی انٹرنیشنلز میں سب سے زیادہ نصف سنچریاں بنانے والے بلے بازوں کی فہرست میں دوسرے نمبر پر آگئے، انہوں نے بھارتی کپتان روہیت شرما کو پیچھے چھوڑا۔  روہیت شرما نے ٹی ٹوئنٹی میں 28 نصف سنچریاں بنائیں، جبکہ بابر اعظم 29 نصف سنچریوں کے ساتھ اب دوسرے نمبر پر آگئے۔

اس فہرست میں بھی پہلے نمبر پر مایہ ناز بلے باز ویرات کوہلی ہیں، جنہوں نے ٹی ٹوئنٹی انٹرنیشنلز میں 33 نصف سنچریاں بنائیں۔ خیال رہے کہ بابر اعظم نے ٹیسٹ میچز کی 75 اننگز میں 3122، ون ڈے کی 90 اننگز میں 4664 جبکہ ٹی ٹوئنٹی کی 86 اننگز میں 3216 رنز بناچکے ہیں۔

Babar Azam also broke the record of Indian captain Rohit Sharma during the same innings.

The Pakistan captain moved into the second position in the list of batsmen with the most half-centuries in T20 Internationals, surpassing Indian captain Rohit Sharma. 

Rohit Sharma has scored 28 half-centuries in T20Is, while Babar Azam is now second with 29 half-centuries.

Virat Kohli, who has scored 33 half-centuries in T20 Internationals, tops the list as well.

It should be noted that Babar Azam has scored 3122 runs in 75 innings of Test matches, 4664 runs in 90 innings of ODIs and 3216 runs in 86 innings of T20Is.
